ABI is a member of the newly formed Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Coordinating Committee, a consortium of bankruptcy-related organizations, that includes NCBJ, NABT, ACB, ABA, NACBA, and the USTP as an ex-officio member.
The consortium is committed to simplifying access to opportunities that increase representation within the ranks of the bankruptcy system. The consortium will serve as a clearinghouse for collective programs, efforts and resources, with the goal of increasing identities and differences concerning culture, race, ethnicity, gender, (dis)ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, country of origin and religion.
The consortium is in the process of creating its website, which will include hyperlinks to consortium members’ diversity, equity and inclusion website pages, providing direct access to opportunities listed and provided by consortium members.
A link to the consortium’s website will be listed here when the website is launched. The consortium will also be involved in law school outreach and engagement, as well as in webinars on diversity, equity and inclusion topics.
